Final report: Great attention for the Istanbul Window Fair
International Istanbul Window Fair, which shapes the construction sector, has been organised at TUYAP between 11-14 March 2010 with the participation of 416 companies from 26 different countries in 60,000 m2 of indoor space.
International Istanbul Window Fair, which has become the 2nd biggest fair of the world with the support of industry professionals, has hosted a total of 30,381 professional visitors from Turkey and 70 different countries. In the 2010 exhibition the product groups of the window, glazing and door sectors has exhibited together.
International Istanbul Window Fair, has enabled the construction sector and consumers to reach the latest innovations at window, glass technology, accessories and auxiliary industry products. New technologies which give importance to energy saving and security aspects but at the same time which were giving importance to the appearance have impressed the fair visitors and has been welcomed with interest.
Istanbul Window 2010 Has Contributed Greatly to the Export Breakthrough of the Sector
Total of 2919 international professionals from 70 different countries have visited the 2010 International Istanbul Window Fair as a result of the promotional activities that have been running by TUYAP during whole year in the target countries of the window sector, which has been trying to overcome the recession of last year.
In addition to the individual visitors, Tuyap organises purchase delegation organisations from Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Iran, Syria, Kosovo through its overseas offices and representatives. Besides all of these activities, the fair has been visited by purchase delegations from Sudan, Russia, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan and Albania with the coordination of Prime Ministry Foreign Trade Undersecretary.
2010 International Istanbul Window Fair, which is one of the four main global window and glass industry specific exhibition, been strengthened even more with the signing of the “Global Fair Association” (GFA) agreement between these four main international organizers. This cooperation has contributed greatly for the breakthrough in the exportation of the window sector as well as achieving its targets and has gone over the success that it had last year.
Istanbul Window, Glass Expo Istanbul and Door Expo Istanbul fairs will be organised together on 10th and 13th of March 2011.
The Istanbul Window Fair, which has become the indispensible international meeting place for the sector with its consistent growth for the last 11 years, will take place during the 2011 at the date of 10–13 March 2011, along with Glass Expo Istanbul Glass Products, Production – Processing Technologies and Machinery, Supplementary Products and Chemicals Fair and with the 3rd Door Expo Istanbul Door, Shutter, Panel, Board, Partitioning System and Accessories Fair at TUYAP Fair and Congress Centre, Istanbul - Turkey.
